Cleaning Time Lutterworth were called out to a commercial shop in Lutterworth to view a concrete floor that recently had carpet tiles on the floor. When they pulled up the carpet tiles it left behind the glues and rubber on the backing of the carpet tiles on the concrete floor. The client wanted us to remove the glue and rubber as they loved the concrete look and wanted to keep it. We agreed a price to complete the work and wasted no time in getting a date booked in.

Upon arriving on the day of the job, we proceeded to prep the area and protect any areas before starting on the concrete floor. We then applied a stripping solution down to dissolve the glues and rubber, we left this to dwell for around 30 minutes. We scrubbed the floor using our rotary machine with diamond brushes and pads, this managed to remove the rubber/glues. We rinsed off the dirty excess water with our wet vac system and dried out the floor. As you can see from the picture above the finishing result was a great looking concrete floor with no more rubber or glues! Our customer was over the moon with the results.
